I have 2 pairs of WC syno petros "kigoma" coming on Feb 23rd...
Got my pots setup with the filter/marble setup and hoping to get them to breed.
Would it be better to have dim lights on this tank for the petros?

Not from any experience breeding them but they seem much more active with dim lights than full lights so I think that would be a safe guess.

nope, they should look a LOT like mine, or be identical with them....
Kigoma is in Tanzania, but situated in the east-north-east corner of the lake; north of the Malagarasi-delta; almost on the border with Burundi, near Nyanza Lac.
that's the type location of the original Synodontis petricola, and also the origin of my group.

have you been able to get them to breed?
I am gonna try with the marble/pot setup.

I've got a couple of 1-2" babies, yes.
and the latest batch of eggs all fungused over (see other post), but I've seen something wriggling in there as well, so yes they spawn.
now if only I manage to avoid the fungus; I'll be homefree!
