Having purchased a small group of queen arabesques (L260), i would like to know what way / time / amount to feed them? I will be feeding tetra prima, aquarian tropical flake food, JMC high protien catfish pellets, Hikari bottom feeder tablets, frozen bloodworm/brineshrimp/mysis and live bloodworm (on a rota). The fish were introduced today but were not interested in food (which was live bloodoworm). Should i vacuum this up(due to polution)? How much should i give to four individuals (soon to be 6), should i turn the water circulation off prior to feeding or leave it on to blow the food around? Also what time should i feed them? During the day (so i can observe them), during the night (as this is when they should be most active), or just before lights out? Cheers guys!

This is a double post about the same species, try next time to put all your question in the same topic when you ask about the same species...it will save some space.

Flake foods is not the best to feed your QA with but tablets and pellets and the frozen food you mention is good for them, the first days they need to be used for their new environments so they dont eat so much...vacuum up that they not eat. You can feed them just before the lights get off and in that way they will get used to look for food at the same time each day and when you have a chance to see them, if the circulation is heavy you can turn that off but maybe it's not necessary. In the other tread you mention that your tank is 60 L small and 6 grown and mature QA is to much...you will only get problems.
