With a Juvi L114 and an L204 beating the heck out of each other? Sunday night I found my L114 in a heap of shreaded fins and a bloodied belly ... The L204 had a slightly shreaded tail ... The fish are in a 30 gal long with tons of driftwood ... Temp 78 PH 6.8 Ammonia 0 ... The only other inhabitants are 5 Corydoras Concolor ... Both fish were 3 inched long ... The L114 didn't make it

Sorry about that

Got a group of 8 L204, and by the experience i know they can be quite territorial and a brute machine of beating towards other L's and toward each other.
Its a must lots of hidding places.

Thanks for the feedback. They had been cohabitating for 6 months... It's always a bummer when you lose one

i was in the same situation as you about a year ago. my L204 just kept going after my L114, even though my 114 had been in the tank longer and was much larger than my spunky little 204. it was hard on my L114 because he couldn't hide in all the littler places and it was hard on him, being harassed all the time. so i separated them, and the L114 was happy again, but the little L204 was still a bit obsessed and only swam around the side of the tank that was nearest my other fish. it was like a little yip dog vs a big gentle german shepard who just doesn't want to be annoyed. it kept me amused for months. oh the antics
