If a researcher want to make their papers publicly available on their websites (many do), then they have to pay extra for that.
If I see something I don't think is right I'm going to say something about it ...regardless of what you are anyone else might think or whatever the "accepted practice" might be.
I don't run with the herd and if you have a problem with that you'd better build a bridge because nothings going to change.
Having a different opinion is fine by me, but I would hate to think people were making deliberately antagonistic or provocative posts for whatever reason.

I suspect google found it... Google is really good at finding obscure web-sites, and if you search for something that isn't found in a lot of places, then it's comming up pretty quickly...

One thing might change and that is you getting yourself banned. A warning has been issued for the aggression shown in the post, I have overlooked the trolling for now, but trolling I think it was, and not the only example of late.

It's been posted at rareaquatics.co.uk and plecoplanet.com. You must have told someone of the link, they, or someone they told has posted it somewhere and it's been picked up from there. Many thanks indeed for removal. I'd hate to see knowing abuse of someone's hard work.

Cheers,

I used Google. I searched the coordinates for the Panaque armbrusteri holotype and it was the only result. It's still available to read as HTML (not PDF) although without pictures and ends at page 16.

Yes, this was me. I also posted a few more forums. I've removed the link where I could.

It's not uploaded there, only a link has been posted to the file on the aquazone.gr server. If that file is removed, the problem goes away. Google will drop its cached version eventually.
