Hi there. I'm Carl from Lancashire, England.
Been keeping Pleco for the last 10-12 years. With varying success but I'm getting better with the more I read and learn.
Currently in the process of building new tank set up at new house.
The pictures I have on here of of the system at my brothers house, where the fish are kept.
At present I have 2x l600, l204 and a pair of giant whiptails. Plus a dozen or more tetras.

Hi Jacob,

What part of California are you from? I'm in Stockton. Are you anywhere close? Always looking to find fellow local catfish keepers.

Cheers, Eric

Hello

My name is Ruud and I am from Netherlands, but since about 4 years now living in (near) Barcelona, Spain.

I emigrated here 4 years ago and left the hobby for a while when i started over my life here. I never had more than 3 tanks in NL and currently have none but am looking to get back in the hobby when I have some space available. Hypancistrus (L260 and 134 specifically) have always been my first love, also have a soft spot for Cory's .

Even though I have no fish at the moment, I still enjoy coming here and watch and read and learn.

Hi Ruud,

@CoryWally and I think you could maybe you could consider a trip to the CSG convention in March next year - Barcelona to Manchester is not very expensive considering the fishes you could find at very good prices...

Cheers,

Jools
PS Welcome everyone who's posted recently!

Thanks Jools, who knows??

As we speak i am in the search of a workshop which could also host my breeding tanks. Waiting on the guy to call me back whether he has space, but it goes the Spanish way so have to be patient.

Then there is lots to figure out, for instance water is very very hard here so need to change my normal aproach i am used to in NL and find an inexpensive way to get my water setup, easy to do water changes etc without costs being prohibitive.

If there are any members here residing in Spain that read this, please sent me a note!
