On a field trip early in the morning.
Ps : I am terrible when it comes to smiling for cameras. A plasticky replica is what gets through usually.

You're pretty hot yourself.
Here's me now. I can go find my own fish!!! The net fits on the side and is totally collapsible. Backpack hopes a battery pump and water. Taking a madtom-finding tour in August.
Hi Shovelnose, Nice pic! If you look that good in the morning, you're doing something right.

L-number: Like the bike - looks brand new - and is it a 250R?
There is a european race-class for them:

My Barbie, you sure have done a lot of plastic surgery since I last saw you.
Very funny spoof.
Me, I am a thin, 6'-2", 60 year old with still dark brown, shoulder length hair with a short white beard and mustache. Somewhere between an older John Lennon and Gandolf the Gray. I have avoided having any self portraits made so long that I will leave it at that.

Yup,so you should really get a picture of both then, cat and bike and you. You don't by any chance ride a Fireblade? You ID made me think of that.

Hi Mats!
Yes, the little bundle of fun is a 2011 Ninja 250R. It's still carbs here but no problem, with our weather I'll have to use the choke a lot anyway. $13 of high octane gas gets me about 250kms.
Thanks for the track tip. They have a Ninja Nights here at the track but I haven't gone yet, still getting my shifting and braking down to a science. I won't be racing but I'll be on one of the best tracks with a whole bunch of other women riders.
There's only a few places where the 250's have a class of their own here but it's catching on. The bike is a riot, really active and responsive and now I know what you meant when you said that I could get my knee down with relatively little practice! It's like all the physics laws come together like poetry. The balance is incredible, leaning over isn't anywhere near as scary as I thought it would be. It actually feels kind of natural.
Can't believe I waited this long to get one.
Good to be back here.

well by cat I meant catfish, I used to ride a VTR1000, called a firestorm over here. It was pretty lumpy, pretty sure they are called SuperHawks in your part of the globe.
I sold it and got myself onto a GSXR1000, it's kind of fun

That's a pretty sweet ride. It'll be a long while before I get on that kind of horsepower!
Very Nice!
They say the red ones are faster...

I'm just happy I figured out how to get a pic off my mobile onto pcf.
The red one is a wee bit faster than the yellow one was, 292kph best speed to date, 166.5hp at the wheel and 78.7ft/lbs torque.......it's good to have a mate with a bike dyno.
No more craziness these days though, all settled down and apparently responsible.

I had a FireStorm as a first bike (probably not the greatest idea ever - but there you go). The blue ones are faster, but FireStorms are faster in Yellow (Scientifically proven on the Dyno day a group of FireStorm owners here in England did in 1997 - the red one was down about 8 bhp on mine [ok, that was due to being a "grey import" which was restricted to produce less than 100 bhp]).

I see LNB finally got her bike- good going!
Whilst this is an ancient thread, it sort of fits that I include a picture from 2003- that's not far off the most recent picture I've got! The only catfish I've ever caught angling:

Nice! Was that in France?
We should start a new thread although it may be more appropriate elsewhere. Here's me with my biggest ever carp (and biggest ever fish, come to that) at just over 47lbs:
I was cold, wet and slightly the worse for wear after 1/2 bottle of Ricard and a long fight with the fish. That's my excuse anyway.
LNB - nice bike, looks just right for you!

Your carp is 10 lb better than my best French carp... yes, the baby cat was in France on boilie whilst carp fishing- I'd love to catch a big one, the 25lb fish I got was like an express train.

Thanks L Number Banana. Nice bike. Dont know too much 'bout bikes but anything that can accommodate a net, fish bags, rubber bands and a fish crazy person is an awesome set of wheels.

Yup, it's a keeper, that's all that matters. Fun for the track, sensible for the street and can go very long distances loaded up with fish gear.
No aquariums...
