Hey. Toledo, Ohio here. Good Ole' USA. I figured I'd join the site after reading around for some time. I used to be big into cichlids, but sold them all and picked up an RTC. He is currently 23" long, but I've run into a huge problem. My little nephew broke the tank he was in (250 gallon) and the only other tank i had around the house was a 55 gallon, so it was either hurry up and put him in the 55 or let him die. So, he's in the 55 and I can't afford a bigger tank at the moment. I'm afraid I'm gonna have to sell him. :(

The Pacific Northwest, USA! Grew up (raised, anyway) in Oregon, but now in Eastern Washington. Addicted to aquaria since 2004, when I got my 4-year-old daughter a pair of goldies to distract her from the kittens in the local pet shop. Had 7 tanks at one time, but now down to 2.

I'm from the Netherlands, europe (wormer is my hometown).
I have aquaria since 2000 and have at the moment 4 of them. 2 are 60x30x30cm and 1 is 100x40x50cm. The last one is a new juwel rio 300 with T5 lighting and the sizes are 120x51x62cm.
At this moment is the 100 empty and the fish of that aquarium are tranferred in the new rio300.

I registered here because I have a question about my syno's and so far 2 of them are identified.

Hi,
I live in Glasgow, Scotland although I was born in England and also lived in Wales. Although I worked in a pet store that sold tropical fish when I was in my teens, it's only recently that I've been able to set up my own tank. L no's fascinate me as do corys.

Hi everybody,

just dropped by to introduce myself.. From the Netherlands, started fishkeeping aged 15 (d*mn that's ten years ago!). Kept big tanks in highschool, and smaller ones at home. currently considering what to put into my 80cm tank, finally have space for it again! weak spots for sturisoma (no not in the 80cm:p), peckoltia and cory's. cheers!

Hello to everybody,
I live in Amersfoort in the netherlands. I have a 2 meter tank with approximately 700 liters.
Main inhabitants are rainbowfish, but I have some nice cats as well: Corydoras panda, Rineloricaria lanceolata red, Dekeyseria brachyura, Ancistris cf dolichopterus, Tatia perugiae, L306 Panaque sp.
Meanwhile I'm busy catching the panda's and Ancistrus to change the species, probably Corydoras duplicareus and a nice other cat...
Greetings

My advise would be - don't bother. Stick to the lating names, but pronounce them Dutch

Canada. West Coast, Vancouver, actually, home of the 2010 winter Olympic Games! :p

I've been keeping fish for quite some time, but recently got into a pleco craze and have been trying to digest as much information as I can as I find them more fascinating than most cichlids even (yes, the evil cichlids).
