The idea with the poster is not bad at all. I’m interested also.

Thank you! Seems I need to give that poster idea a serious thought :-D

If you are looking for a source of income, a calendar might be a better idea. A monthly look at one fish X 12 months.

Jools wrote: 05 Jun 2018, 21:38 Love this thread, it was a great idea by Haakon to start it. If anyone (Eric?) fancies adding the pictures to the cat-elog it would help me out and many if not all of them should be in there as great examples.
bekateen wrote: 05 Jun 2018, 22:42 Yes I can. Will try to get it done this weekend.
Hi Eric,

If you are still able to work these pictures into the catelog it would be a great help. I will have time to do it next week ahead of the CSG event in Copenhagen, but I have plenty other things to do on this site as well! :-)

I plan to add everything facing left to the site, there is not a single bad or even average picture in here, but they are watermarked so wish to avoid the flipped text issue...

Cheers,

Jools

Hi Jools,

I've done a little already. Work is particularly busy (as obvious the fact that I'm posting at 3am after writing an exam for the last 7 hours), so I won't get big headway. I'll do what I can.

Cheers, Eric

Hi Eric,

OK, no worries, and thank you for those done to date. So what I will do is save all of them into a Dropbox folder and we both can add them from there. No extra work for either of us but allows us to progress collaboratively?

Cheers,

Jools

Thanks a lot, Jools :d The Fonchiiloricaria are very awesome fish, but seem to be quite hard to get to settle / relax. They spend much time hanging on the tank walls in the current, much like Pterosturisoma. I got them from Green Fish (Luis) in Peru, so you should be able to get them in your area as well I guess.

Great thread Haakon!

Can I use some of your text and images for a Catfish Study Group Journal article? I will share it with you before publishing.

Cheers,
Mark.

@HaakonH, have you got any info on that fish?

Lovely photos btw :)

Thanks :-) No particular info, it's just another normal L34 from Rio Xingu.
