I am sorry to report, that due to a heater failure which caused the water temp to rise beyond my thermometer's ability to read it, I have lost the entire tank of L236. 10 adults and somewhere in the neighborhood of 40 fry, including wigglers. This happened within 24 hours of the last time I checked the tank when I fed them last night.

Absolutely gutted. :YMSIGH:

The only consolation is I have two growout tanks with offspring in them. I would guess I have about 30 left. Some of them are pushing 2 inches, But most of them are in the 1.5 inch range. Maybe in another 16 months, with luck, I will be able to have them built into a spawning group again.

Not much to say, other than I'm really sorry about that... Sorry for you (my sincere condolences) and sorry for the fish. No one wants to find that in their tanks.

Regards, Eric
