Hi Milan,

no, I donĀ“t think your fish is A. hoplogenys.
The spots in the unpaired fins should be distinctly larger than those on the body and fewer in number.

Hi,

those of you interested in the fry development of A. hoplogenys, hold your fingers crossed.
This is what they look like now:

And just for reference: their spots truly are greenish (even more so in real life than in this picture), that is not a picture artifact.

Hi to all ! Now i have a question - I think i have a pair of l 59, but the female has much less spots than male. So is this normal or she is from different species ? Picture of the male could be seen in my profile.

They tend to lose spots with age and due to small body odontodal growth, males can look duller. If you're not sure, post pics - they can hybridise. Please use another thread / don't hijack this one. :-)
