I had a great time and spent less than I expected.

The convention did not seem as well organized as previous Catfish Conventions. This was my third.

The speakers were excellent but they had a lot of bad news about the rivers of the Amazon. Downright depressing it was.

My opinion was there was a good diversity of species, heavy on South American species, but maybe not as many in number.

I expected more catfish at the auction.

Overall, a very good time and made more friends.

I agree with jp11biod. Overall a fun convention with some great speakers. I learned a few things as I do anytime I go to a convention. Who knew Doradidae are described based on their gas bladder? It was a ton of fun hanging with friends and meeting new ones. For those that could not go to the Catfish Convention, OCA is bringing in Hans to speak on catfish. Until next time, happy cat keeping.
