yep, e.g., ~500 h for the PermAquarium and ~150 h for the Shell ceiling

Thanks, Crkinney! Well, Russky Rednecks (note the new meaning for R&R), as you once eloquently put it, have got to do something with their time when they are laid off for 2 years... apart from collecting masses of fish that is... the latter is a must, of course, :)

Yes. Thank you. Had to look it up:
1: having a healthy reddish color
2: red, reddish
3: British —used as an intensive <bellowed like a ruddy bull when she wanted food — Doreen Tovey>

Viktor,

Simply amazing effort and detail. From someone who was quite impressed at himself by banging up a hundred tiles or so in my kitchen, I am in a little bit of awe. In the early days of computer graphics, we used to work by hand drawing every pixel in electronic canvases that wouldn't fill a mobile phone these days. Even that painstaking work pales into insignificance in contrast to this effort.

PS I can get most any Americans to buy me a beer simply for my Scottie from Star Trek impression, "Yee cannae change the laws o' physics capn!" being a particular favourite.

Thanks Andy!

It's all good, Bob. I like learning. I am an ESL person (English as a Second Language). Ironically, the version of English taught in the former USSR was British, no Americanisms. "Ruddy" did not make the curriculum, I guess :)

Jools, thanks much! I spent 5 min thinking what does your PS mean until I realized it was catalyzed by Bob's remark... I am slow :) :(

Viktor,

The quote function is often under or overused. If the post the one before mine is all that I am addressing, then I don't use it (and it doesn't normally need to be used unless addressing a big post with multiple points). I always thought of having a half fun topic in this section for people to post US versus UK English and their "translations", words and phrases.

Anyway, don't want to get off topic on your great thread.
