BTW, this web fish photo is captioned as Synodontis ilebrevis:
Could that be right? If so, it looks a lot like the fish we bought from Atlantis as Synodontis polli! (See nfrost's photos earlier in this thread.)

IMO that photo captioned 'ilebrevis' is actually much closer to the more yellow 'polli' that I posted first, which is why I thought that those four fish that I got from Old World in a mixed lot of synos were ilebrevis (they are all around 5"). While the 5 that I got from Atlantis are often times much darker than what is represented in the photo I posted (they are all around 7").
Edit here are 2 , not so good, photos that I dug up of the same syno that I posted earlier that came from OW.

Well after going back, it looks like the humeral process of that 'ilebrevis' is much more elongated than any of my 'polli'. It is very easy to see in that first photo of the yellow 'polli' that I posted and the photo of the 'ilebrevis'.
And I believe that the fish in this thread are the same fish that Toby and I got from Atlantis...

neither the pic in seegars nor the pic in the wright & page revision show a fish with a head so blunt as the suephoto pic. I suspect this is an unidentified polli-look-a-like.

Hi,
To illustrate this species in a book (in french), I am looking for a picture free of this fish.
Does anybody know how to contact Greg Pierson or who have such a picture?
Thanks in advance
