It's been a long wait since you made Clare's reservation to attend
the AACC08 convention and within two weeks you cancel her
reservation. Thanks for sharing the waiting time with Jamey & me.
Welcome Jacob Lewis into the wonderful, loving family that you
will grow and mature. Congratulations, Clare and Jools and enjoy
every moment that you can with your precious Jacob. He will
grow up quickly!
Fondly,
Emily & Jamey

Thanks everyone, first Dignall in 35 years, it's a big deal but you guys are making it bigger and that's lovely. I'm very proud of Clare and Jacob himself is just brilliant. I spent a couple of hours with him tonight while he just slept on me. Clare comes home tomorrow, so we can really get started.

PS If anyone fancies writing a catfish of the month, feel free!

My wife Clare gave birth to our first son, Jacob Lewis Dignall at 16:39. I'm just home from the hospital with a steak pie supper and am going straight to bed, 'cos I am knackered!
I love that part (ooh, the laughter)!
HE is exhausted... poor new dad!
Can't wait for the coming nights, right ?
I can't remember how many times I had to get up during the first months.
By the way, have you put on weight during Mrs Dignall's pregnancy ? (the solidarity stuff, you know) My husband did, but he's never really lost anything

Actually I've lost quite a lot of weight during Clare's pregnancy, I think becuase I drank less, ate more healthily and spent my weekends actively working on the house.
However, that's all gone to hell in a well bucket since Clare has been in hospital.

It appears that I am no longer the only father in the house. The Marbled Flounder Cats Rupert gave to me 8 days ago have decided they like Scottish water. It's a testament to Rupert's efforts in keeping these fish that they readily spawned under my watch.
