I still can't believe the fuss that was made over Curt Shilling's bloody sock (and it was covered in blood).

The greatest thing about futbol is that anyone can play. If you don't want to play, you can cheer. If you don't want to cheer, you can drink. And if you don't want to drink, you don't have to go to the game. It weeds out all the boring people you might have to talk to!

Com'n ClayT101 - I'll take you out to a few New Orleans Shell Shocker matches (along with a fifth of your favorite fortifying beverage) and we'll see if you can catch a little futbol fever ... along the way you'll meet all kinds of interesting people. As far as footie goes, the Shell Shockers aren't really very good. But the games are fun!

Much more so than most Saints' games. Take that to mean either New Orleans or Southampton. A Hibs fan on this list? They wear such brave faces ... good for them.

I think some of the problem is that people want results right away. They want a homerun, they want a lot of touchdowns, etc. Traditional "pitcher's duals" are considered boring in baseball by many because there's no scoring. Soccer seems to be about how you get the goal as well as getting the goal.
