New Zealand and Aussie have a combined population of 22 miilion, this would be i guess the population of a medium- small european nation and the size of a big US state or a couple of Moderate sized ones, let alone the crazy numbers in Asia. relatively speaking the cake you speak of- we here call a cupcake.
Downunder no contest.
what is alarming is the stats for central and sth America- i guees language is a contributing factor to this

Yay, my first post. I live in Surrey, South East England. I don't have much experience with catfish, but I've been keeping cories for just over a year. I recently got a bigger tank (still only 100l
) and I've got some Glass cats and some UD cats. I hope to get a Bristlenose soon.

Hi,
I live in the United States, in the State of Virginia about 40 miles west of Washington, DC. I am an active member of the Potomac Valley Aquarium Society which puts on the All Aquarium Catfish Convention every other year of which this years convention is October 16-19, 2008 and is featured on tis site.
Very few LFS in the DC area have much of a selection of catfish with one notable exception. Scales Tropical Fish in Maryland consistently has a much better than most but also is one of the few fish stores that actively quarantine all fish they get in before selling them to the public so all of their fish are super healthy which is a real bonus.
I thought for a long time that I was mainly a cichlid person until I realized that I have never had a cichlid tank without groups of catfish and have always bred catfish to keep in my cichlid tanks. Now I am not sure who is the companion to who
