I'm just in the process of starting my first catfish tank and there couldn't have been better inspiration than your pictures. Thank you for posting them. Do you use CO2? The plants are as nice as the communities!

Wow. I now have a goal to shoot for. Your tanks are incredible. So far I only have the tank and two furry tank-topper cats. Gotta start somewhere.

Glenny, can you tell me what the large plant is in the 60tank(?) on the right end, large ovate leaves, three ribs, tallest plant. It's beautiful. It think it's also in one of the close-ups.

When's the book out? Calendar, playing cards....

I'm not sure but the plant you mean is probably an Echinodorus bleheri...

the shrimp was stealing the only algae/wood wafer in the tank so the rhinomale was observing him!

it was funny!

Just piping in with a plant tip - check out http://www.aquaticplantcentral.com/. Good pictures of many plants and the Guru of planted tanks is sometimes on the forums. It should give you a great start to the planting part of your new aquarium and congrats on starting your catfish tank

- I'm in the same boat - just finishing the cycling/planting.

Glenny's tanks are inspiring a lot of people!!! They're spectacular.
