We are in the middle of a real cold snap right now. The temp has been as low as 37F. I brought the pond fishes in when night temps were still up in the lower 40s. They are now at 69F (21.4C), room temperature, in a 45 gallon 3 foot tank and very happy. In the summer months the tanks run in the low 80s and they are fine. One hardy barb.
I put the pump I bought at your place in when I got home and noted an errant Chiloglanis that I missed still in the pond. The pond is in the mid to upper 30s and the little guy looked thin but healthy so I left him (her?) out.
