I bought 5 fishes which supposedly were wild-caught Hypancistrus L260 "Queen Arabesque".
However, one of them looks markedly different from the others. The others are dark brown with wiggly lines & dots, this one is dark brown with wiggly lines - and paired lighter-colored areas along the back.

That isn't fright coloration - it always looks like that. Also it's somewhat larger than the four others.
(Apologies for the atrocious pictures - the fish are very shy, so the photos were taken at a distance of several yards in near darkness)
Is this an L260, or something else?
EDIT: I just noticed that there is a fish looking exactly like mine in the video in the first post of this thread:

The big one swimming to the left in the first seconds of the film looks *exactly* like my mystery L260.
Is this a Queen Arabesque?

Hi, I have an L260 (at least that is what it was sold to me as) that looks like your odd colored fish. Here is a link from "Planetcatfish" that shows a similarly colored fish.
