is Jaws an albino channel cat, or something different?

ive tried looking through the cat-e-log but this one being albino makes it hard to match to a picture, i was told maybe a channel cat but its snout seems alot longer and more shovel nosed shape

Looks more like a xanthoristic or 'gold' form of Mystus nemurus or something......
check the snout; looks pretty 'Bagrid' to me. that dorsal also rings a few warning bells.
are they fiercely agressive to each other? or increasingly territorial?
beautiful catfish, but if they're a Mystus of the "nemurus/wyckii" clan you're in for a lot of pent up agression, mate

warning bells about the dorsal fin? you mean cause its puffed up?
thats prolly cause he was getting frustrated chasing the goldfish in my hand to get a nice pose for the picture, actually the cats show no agression at all towards one another, the walking cats and jaws all sleep on one another in the same corner

I think he just means the dorsal fin is a further warning sign that it's a Hemibagrus. The one I used to have sometimes attacked me. I've seen albino H. wyckioides for sale, although they were more white than yellow. Still, I think that's what your fish is.

argh
sometimes I'm still stuck on old names.
yeah Hemibagrus, that's what I meant.
I still think of those as "big Mystus".
Hemibagrus is pound for pound perhaps the most agressive fish we can get for the hobby. and it doesn't differ much if you have wyckii, wyckioides or nemurus; all are completely diabolic when adult.
