Hi

I run about 40 odd airstones/ air filters from a Hagen 40

Mine is a slightly older model but that bodes well since it still works fine :)

Cheers

Hi

I have a Hagen 20,and that does 22 tanks and a brine shrimp hatchery, with a good air flow. :)

There are other models available, some at a lesser price than the Hagen pumps, but I like the Hagen pumps.
One thing to bear in mind if resources are limited..
the diaphrams for these pumps are quite expensive (£50 or there abouts)
when my diaphram went 30months ago,I managed to get another Hagen 20 off e-bay for £40..(second hand of course) and that is still working well.

Don't know who the vendor is but here's a listing

‘Is it common?’
“It’s not unusual.” :YMTONGUE:

Thanks for the info guys, I had no Idea the diaphrams were as exspensive, I've been offered a Hialea Hi-blow 60lpm pump for £40 the guy only used it for7/8 air stones in his hut might go for that will have to find out price of diaphram
