Black Catfish ID Help

Was hoping to get an ID on a black catfish I saw at the store today.
Completely black, low set and sort of "bulbous" eyes, short whiskers, about 4 inches long but employee said they get to be about 12"-15", he said the name started with a P but didn't remember it.
I know this is vague, sorry, but if anyone can point me to some ideas that would be great, I checked through the catalog but had no clue where to start. None of the Common Names that start with P looked like it.

Here are what the eyes looked like, not quite so huge though, and they were directly on the sides of it's head.

Found out it was pangasius, thanks for the replies, good thing I decided to do a little research before buying! (I've decided not to!)

That's a very wise decision in this case. Pangasius spp. aren't very suitable for long life in aquariums...
