50 gallon tubs

ok i picked 2 of these up for 8 dollars each usally around 20 each.

I want to keep pleco fry in 1 for sure and cichlid fry in he other. I will have alot of driftwood in the pleco one. I might keep plecos in both at some point in time. What are the pros and cons of plumbing this. Will bn 1.5in fry fight with 2- 1month old fry?

Where did you get them? Are you sure they are 50gallons not 50litres? Im very interested myself at that price!

Have you tested them to see if they hold water well? I tried a 50 gal container once, but it bowed out way too far for my liking. I went to the heavy duty 26 gallon one (if you were shopping Lowes it is the black one with the yellow top).

yes 50g and 200 liters. the hold water but did bow out. i built a 2*4 box for them
