hi im kinda new here but i was wondering my bristlenose
plec has been hiding for anout 8 hrs is this normal im a bit worryed if its a stupid question soz im new

Welcome to Planet Catfish.

They are kinda shy, although if they are hungry, they'll venture out to eat. Males are more prone to hiding, since when they find a cave they'll want to "keep it".

toss a piece of cucmber near him (weighted down, with a teaspoon for example)
He should be out soon enough.
