Pinoccio Whiptail

Post by new zealand discus man »

Rhinoloricaria Pinoccio Whiptails.

I have had about 30 young from imported adults from Peru.

Any one know of breeding before .
Mother carried bunch of eggs in mouth for a bout 10 days and hatched as 10mm fry, feeding on live brine shrimp and in algae tank.
Young in 8 days are now 12mm so looks good so far..

Hi phill

I would say it was male carrying the eggs rather than female as most lip brooders the male carries the eggs that is why his lips are bigger.
