size

Post by KevinM »

Hello,
I would like to suggest a size based list.
Such as several headings each being a different size range of total body lengths of adult fish and then a list of links within each size range, whereby the names link to the species in the Cat-elog.
It may help narrow down the choices dependant upon available tank size or stocking levels and members can then ask more direct questions as to suitability for their specific tank/tank mates and care.

Hi Kevin,
Jools is working on this feature right now. Problem is the input: it's a lot of work to look up all the sizes of the fishes in the Cat-eLog.

Of course, sorting in order of size within a family would help selecting fish that fit within a certain size-range...
