can a pimelodus blochii live in a 29gal. till he gets at least 7-8" long hes 5" now I will put him in my 90 gal. with my Oscar.but if he cant can he be kept with a Oscar in a 90 gal. ?

I don't really think that P. blochi and Oscar are particularly good tank-mates...

The general rule is to have 4L x 2L x 2L, where L is the length of the fish. Put 8" into that, and you get a tank that is 32 x 16 x 16, which you probably can't get, but a US 75g tank is 48 x 18 x 20 or something like that, so should work well for you...
