How big will a 4-Lined Pictus Catfish grow. Hope im in the right place.

they lose theire stripes after they get bigger. mines about 6" and he has full stripes.

An unfussy omnivore. Most prepared foods are taken and the fish will happily gorge itself on live or frozen foods. Bloodworm induces a feeding frenzy and is good for acclimatizing new, smaller acquisitions. The fish will eat huge amounts in one day, its belly swelling to resemble a marble and can comfortably live off this for up to a week.

Its pretty much the same for all pimelodids. I found that with my pictus cats ( which are not dissimilaer to Blochii) chopping prawns (from the supermarket) into the individual segemnts, and then those segments in half to provide bitesize treats. They went wild for them, and would even catch them before they touched the substrate!!

As for the stripes, im not sure, but i shouldnt think so. There are lots of colour variations for this fish, as read from the Cat-E-Log page again

I would think that they do get a little bit less active when large, but they'll be ACTIVE fish in any size...

he isnt confined he is in a 90gal. with a rhino plec.
I tried feeder fish but he wont look at them. he like shrimp pellets. and it could be that I had just got him 3 days ago.

I don't know, but like P. pictus, they're more active when kept in a shoal. I used to have a group of four, which would feed in a manic frenzy. They learned to take food from my fingers, each one frantically trying to get in there ahead of the others.

I dont know if they are like p.pictus but in the cat-e-log pic the adult p. blochii looks like he is not that active.
