Unidentified Bagrid - Possibe relation of Indian Shovelnose?
I am desperately trying to identify this guy. He is approximately an inch and a half long with well defined black stripes on a bright silver body. Stripes are vertical on body and horizontal along tail.
He was sold as unidentified when he was delivered to my local fish shop amongst some Spoonheaded Whiptails. He has large almost comical eyes and is quite inquisitive of people but prefers a sheltered spot in the tank to hide.
I would be grateful for any help in identifying him & learning a little more about him
I'm sorry about the pics but I am clearly not much good at getting them to display here!!!
