Growth rate of Marble Pim

Post by Pimbuddy »

I was just in one of the local stores and they have a 8-10 inch marbled pim in an approx.200-300 gallon wooden frame pond with pond filter and I last saw it 8 months ago and it looks like it has barely grown, is this typical for the species. I know others like the RTC and the TSN that I have had grew continously. thanks

They eat just about everything and if they're kept well-fed they can grow very quickly. I have heard of one which reached 32 inches in 18 months.
