Post by Naias »

Hi!
I am interested in keeping Pelteobagrus mica. Does anybody know where I can get more information on these catfish? There ist almost nothing to be found via google.
Thanks a lot!
Best Regards from Munich

Generally Pelteobagrus are cool water fish, but I don't know for sure that this is true for P. mica.

Given that the species is only known from the Amur River drainage, I would expect it to be tolerant of far lower temperatures, bearing in mind that the Amur is icebound in winter.
