preparing sweet potatoes

Post by thebirdofprey »

I know the answer to this question exist somewhere in the forum. But I can'tseem to find it.
The question is how do prepare sweet potatoes for your bristlenose plecos? Do you just cut them up and feed them raw or do you boil them for a bit first.
Also would the preparation be the same for fry as it would for adult bristlenose?
Thanks in advance and sorry for a guaranteed repeat question.

In here.

You would most likely need to blanch them first.

If they are "grown up", they will eat it raw too. The smaller they are, the more boiling they need, but the less you boil it, the less likely it is to fall apart and make the water messy.... (assuming of course it lasts long enough for that... ;-) )
