Panda Cory Fin Rot?
Panda Cory Fin Rot?
I have a 20 gallon tank, with 5 guppies and 6 cory cats. 2 bronze and 2 peppered. Filter, air supplier, sand, fake plant decor and a few other small things. The ammonia is 0.50, ph is 7.2 and nitate 5.0. Im not sure if this is fin rot or a fungus. One panda's tail is almost gone, the other ones tail is intact but appears to be peeling. I dont know another word to describe it. None of the other fish are affected. The panda's seem to be eating and moving. I have Maracyn-Two but not sure I should use it since im not sure what it is. I have a empty 10 gallon tank but not an extra filter or air supplier. Im not sure what to do. I have been doing the salt bath so far. Please help!

Hi Erin, welcome to PC.
It's always best to have a picture to help ID the problem. Here's a couple of site's that may be of use.
http://www.waterlife.co.uk/waterlife/chart.htm

From what you've described, it could be worth checking out 'Melafix', and 'Pimafix' at this link... It's what I use.
