I've now got 18 babies from four different spawnings, 2 from the first, 1 from the second, 7 from the third and 8 from the last. The last two spawnings I have removed the eggs from the father as I suspected him of eating the babies onece they had hatches.
So hopefully I'll have some more on the way in a couple of weeks.
Cheers Marc

Great pictures Marc.
Iâ??ve got a few questions for you.
How do you remove the eggs from the male? Mine wonâ??t move from the cave once the eggs are laid, even if the cave is lifted out the water.
How often are they laying eggs? Do you think removing the eggs from the male increase this frequency? I left my male to look after the babies; he seemed to do a good job as I now have 5 zebras growing on nicely. My zebras have spawned twice (that I know of) once in Nov last year and once last week.
What do you feed the babies when they first hatch? I didnâ??t notice mine until they were swimming around the tank, so they must have been eating the same food as their parents.
I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have about my breeding project, but from the sounds of things you seem to have it sussed
Cheers.
