Hi,
I can only give you a hint how to treat them if you want them to spawn, I have four of them and they are around 13-15 cm now and have not show any interest to spawn earlier for me but now under the last month after I let the pH down from 6.8 to 5.8 they have been much more active and one of them are gaurding a cave and chasing the other all the time if they are to close. I can mention that I have them in a 240 L tank with a powerhead wich gives 2000 L/h and they like it a lot.

They grow very slowly so I dont think they are sexual mature before three years and around 5-6" / 13-15 cm.
I can mention that I bought mine two years ago and they was around 3" / 7-8 cm and now they have reach 5-6" / 13-15 cm and they have not showing any interest in each other before now. They say they dont grow larger then 6" but mine are still growing.
