Farlowella cats

Post by Freyr »

I recently got two farlowella from my LFS. When I first got them they looked exactly alike, dark brown with no other colors. After having them for 2 weeks, they have changed dramatically. One is a very light brown with a black stripe on both sides, while the other is a dark grey color with the stripes and long filaments coming from its tail.

Are these male and female? Is one just younger and has yet to grow its tail filaments?

Thanks

Freyr,
One good photo would be worth us guessing a 1,000 words.
