A Beanstalk?

Post by Silent Doh »

My sibling recently purchased a minibow 2.5 gal. aquarium. He used the filter that came with it. He used gravel from his other 1 gal. aquarium, and gravel from my 20 gallon which was collected from a stream. I noticed a small beanstalk sprouting from a bean located in the aquarium. I have not noticed this in my aquarium before. However, I found a few seeds on the rim of the aqaurium after I noticed this strange plant. Is this safe? No fish are in the aqaurium yet, as it is being cycled still.
Siphoning neon tetras through a small hose can be harmful to their health.

It'd be of no more risk than those pebbles from the stream. The bean shoot is probably more at risk from the fish anyway.

Perhaps you should be asking your sibling what he's done with the family cow?
