We have had these in Finland for three years now. They are about 20 cm long and i.d. has been very difficult to clear.They arrived as aluminium catfish , C.longipinnis. One specimen has reached 35 cm mark.

Looks, large eyes and lenght. I'm not 100% sure though, hence the (?). Maybe Silurus will confirm (or deny) :wink: .

Adult C. brachynema do not have such large eyes. I cannot definitively identify this one. Maybe C. maurus.
