Red-Tail & pellets

Ever since the day I perchased him he's been a Meat-Eater eating only goldfish, rosy's, worm's. But for some reson he won't eat any type of pellet's or flake's I have tryed c*****d pellet's, Freeze Dried Bloodworm's, Frozen Brine shrimp. What other might I try or if this even posable.

I take it this is a questions, of how to make the transition to healthier foods.

Your going to want to change foods using association with taste and smell and those are the two main senses on your cat that trigger eating.

Get a saringe (sp?) and some garlic extract. your going to feed your catfish ONE food. Earth worms. Inject the worms with the garlic. The cat is going to associate that stimuli with food after about 1 week. Now fast the catfish for a few days... maybe even a week.
I would suggest a bottom cichlid pellet for your cat for the base diet. Your now going to presoak the cichlid pellets in the garlic extract and feed them to him.

This method works about 99% of the time. Keep up on water changes and research research research. You wont like what most of the people have to say here about that catfish.

Are you trying to say Earth Worm's arn't a good diet for they Catfish???. And why and what do you mean about people bad-mouthing my Red-Tail Catfish.

Earth worms are a good diet for your fish... Pellets generally offer more of a variety I was giving you options on what you could feed.

As you already know fish can often times cause problems with internal parasites. Also If you can feed pellets your less likely to see problems like "Hole in the head"
We all want to see the fish grow up healthy and happy. It's a matter of how anyone could do that. It's adult size will be monterous. Can you keep him happy when he's 4ft long?
