I don't think it's unfair to charge slightly more for this fish than a "common". It has a more "pretty" pattern. It also may not grow QUITE as big as a common - but it's still going to get quite large.

Glyptoperichthys joselimaianus L001 or "Spotted Sailfin" only reach a size of 8".
I can speak from direct experience as I just sold one to a friend that was very old and I
measured it with a ruler when I was bagging it and it was exactly 8" (20.3 cm).
I have sold several "common" plecos that were in the 18"-24" range and they were in my
55 gallon so I would guess that they get even larger in a bigger tank.

As far as price, I originally bought this fish for $6 when it was 3" and sold it to a friend.
I recently bought it back for $12 at 8" and sold it to another friend for $15. Of coarse
LFS prices are likely to be higher as I try to keep my fish prices as reasonable as I can.
