Cucumber

Post by jeremy242 »

I have been feeding my pl*cos cucumber for a long time now and they like it a lot. I just put it in there raw and they have most of it gone by morning. I see a lot of people here also feed there pl*cos zucini and other stuff, my quesion, is there anything wrong with cucumber and is zucini better, and also why would you cook the zucini before you would put it in the tank? Also how longwould you leave it in the tank, if i leave mine in for more than a night the seeds are all over the place. Any help thanks

I add zuchinni raw, and pumpkin, my plecs happilly eat both.
Zuchinni has a bit more 'substance' then cucumber which is softer and I think contains more water

I've used squash, cucumber, patatoes, apples, peas, and carrots ... it all gets eaten. I microwave it in a cup of water just to get it to sink.

Thanks for all the help. I am going to try and use some zucini next time and see if they like it. Thanks again
