Anyone heard of c. sp. adolfi?

Post by CoryKeeper »

I don't see anything on them on the web and I purchase c. adolfi and they look exactly alike! I placed both pairs in a 2 1/2 gallon tank with a divider and could not see any difference. Looking down from the top both females had a stripe that was 2 or 3 times wider than the males.
Also, picked up 2 more c. rabauti to add to my other 6!

C. adolfoi and C. duplicareus are almost identical.
C. adolfoi tend to be a little less colourful with a narrower stripe.

C. duplicareus are a slightly deeper bodied and rounder in head shape. The main feature which cannot be seen is that C. duplicareus has heavily serrated inner edges to their pectoral spines and C. adolfoi does not
