Sexing Corydoras sp. cf elegans C123

Post by Jeff »

Is there anyway of sexing C123 Corydoras sp. cf elegans. I received Qty 4 of these beauties today. Two of them are close to three inches long and the other two are just under two and half inches.
They are suppose to be wild caught, but they seem to exceptionally healthy, nice and fat.
I need to invest in a digital camera because these fish must of been babied.
Has anyone had any experience sexing them and any experience or pointers in breeding them.

Thanks

Jeff

Jeff,

Pictures would be good, but for sexing go to the sticky at the beginning of this section. I also assume that your size of 3 inches would include the caudal fin as members of this group of Corys rarely reach more than 2 inches in body length, generally refereed to as 'Standard length' (SL.).
