Zebra Setup
Hi All,
I need help in setting up a Zebra tank. Pics if possible. I have plenty of driftwood but i dont know how to arrange it. They dont like the caves i've created and seem to hang around the back of the tank and not in them.
I have a Ehiem 2222 and a 2012 for filtration. I had a powerhead but it broke but my zebras dont mind the loss of current.

Mine love slate caves and lots of current. Here is a link that I made that may help you. The 1996 article on yahoo has pictures of slate caves.

I did not realise that there was no wood were these fish came from ?
mine all 4 of them prefer to sit under the driftwood rather than in my slate caves. I have occasionally caught them having a good munch on the wood.
and i have just found out that my temp is a bit low, i have set mine to 23c as per my lfs instructions, tonight im upping it to see if that helps them to get out and about more.
although they are coming out at feeding times, they have actually got more inquistitive as they seem to venture into the tank more nowadays, well until they get sick of brochis and corys playing around them.
