Minor correction: it's Leiarius. What a beautiful specimen.
Haven't seen those for a very long time. I bet you are pretty proud of it!

Thankyou all for the nice comments. When I bought him he was like 2 inches long with some stupid pet shop name. I really had no idea what I was buying. I have had him now for about 8 months. He's in a 55 by himself right now. I already have tank space for him as he grows. You wouldn't believe the length of his barbles it's neat. I'll send some better pics this weekend.

If I ever switch from setting up biotopes with small fish to keeping a single catfish 'pet-style' in a big tank, that one's pretty high on my list.

A real beauty! IMNSHO far better looking than Lima, TSN, Redtails and that whole bunch.
