27 years old Heteropneustes fossilis passed away

My 27 years old Heteropneustes fossilis passed away. We spent together all this time, I remember him as a 4 cm wiggling worm. He had no sign of illness, just during the last week was paler and more often swimming around the tank during the day. This is the last photo of him, taken on December 25 2005. It's a sad day for me.

I just wanted to say congratulations for taking care of the fish and keeping it healthy for that long. An amazing accomplishment.

not only to keep a fish alive, well and healthy for such a long time, but sticking with it, not trading it for something else.....

Thank you all for your kind words. I really appreciate this. Longevity is that thing in catfishes, that I like the most, a catfish is an aquarist's lifetime fish
