LFS Rare Pleco

Post by greenmonkey51 »

I was at the lfs today and they had a pleco labeled as rare pleco. I was trying to figure out what it was. It looked like a young Peckoltia Sabaji. It was a yellowish with black spots. Is there anything else it could be.

Ya that does look it more, but Im not sure about the end of the tail color. I'll have the look at it when I go by there.

Honestly, most "on-and-off" ancistomus look very similar. It's hard to give an ID without a picture.
