L-168: a fish with many names?

Post by fishboy23 »

I'm hoping you pleco experts can help me with this.
I will be getting (tomorrow) 2 L-168 plecos. I looked them up on this site, and they are called Dekeyseria brachyura. Aqualog calls them Peckoltia Pulcher, and Datz (?, it's a friend's book) calls them something (not either of the earlier mentioned genera) brachyura. What is this fish exactly? I'm told it is called a butterfly pleco. Any specific things I should know about them, that I didn't read in the Cat-eLog?
Thanks,
Gary

The correct name is Dekeyseria brachyura. Aqualog identified the fish incorrectly, and Zonancistrus (the name used in DATZ) is a synonym of Dekeyseria.
