how do you sex these guys? as i was hoping to compare them at the shop before i buy?
also how easy are they to breed as i cannot find too many articles on them?

You beat me too them I ended up with the Queen A's instead. They got a second lot in and they were gone before I had a look at them even, guess you snooze you loose when it comes to fancy plecs.

I was told the shipment that came into NZ recently

were all captive bred in Germany, hence the better than average size (much better) and the slightly higher than normal prices.

I bought five and am pretty sure i got 4 males and 1 female .Pitty no one in nz breeds any plecs seriously so sad and im only second person here too breed L52.At least more L46 are getting imported now but still ridiculous prices like $400.

Hey no probs, breed those choch zebs and Ill do you a trade
I ended up with 5 Queen A's (L260) looks like 3 males and 2 females so maybe given time Ill get them to breed.
I had to pay RRP too ;) Worth it though, the fish were all in excellent condition, not very often we get a chance to buy these guys so have to take advantage when you can.
