This fish reminds of some specimens from the Mono R. basin (Togo) I studied.
I could not name them after one of the known species in that region (which is poorly documented btw). My specimens had more mandibular teeth than is seen in S. obesus and a longer snout than is seen in S. nigrita.
Maybe an undescribed species?
